While not technically "astrology", I thought this had enough gee-whiz factor to mention. New pictures from the Hubble Space Telescope of Pluto have been released. Now, I don't know about you, but I can never hear the name Pluto without thinking of Mickey Mouse's dog, but these pictures have me thinking that Pluto looks more like a calico cat than a Disney dog. I guess it was only a matter of time. Their marriage has been tabloid fodder for the last three years or so. Her natal chart is above. Her transits, secondary progressions and solar arc directions are attached to the bottom of this post. Tags: elizabeth edwards, john edwards

Robert A. Mosbacher, a Texas oil mogul who served as a chief fundraiser for five Republican presidential campaigns and who as commerce secretary under President George H.W. Bush successfully promoted the North American Free Trade Agreement, died of pancreatic cancer Sunday at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He was 82. The natal chart data I have for him is March 11, 1927, Mt Vernon, NY (40°54′51″N, 73°49′50″W), time unknown. If anyone has his birth time, please let me know. 01/15/10
I posted the wrong chart for the earthquake in Haiti. I had the time off by 12 hours. Most of my previous comments still apply - except that Saturn is conjunct the IC, not the MC and it was a Moon hour rather than a Saturn hour. However, Saturn's actually stronger in essential dignity in this chart than it was in the other one. Also, the ascendant is conjunct Sirius in this chart. Sorry for the confusion folks. 01/13/10
